Shadows in Motion — A Virtual Dojo Experience

🥋 Matt's Virtual Dojo

Day A

Today's Training

The 2-Week Cycle Cycle 1

Days alternate A / B. Sunday is rest. The last training day of Week 2 is your test. Every cycle uses this same rotation.

Rotating Integration/Sparring slot (Day B PM): Muay Thai sparring → Judo randori → Karate kumite → Kali/JKD free-flow. Swap for a conditioning finisher on a tired day.

Curriculum

🏅 Test

Pass → advance that art next cycle.  Hold → repeat the weak part one more cycle, then retest. You can sit at different belts in different arts — that's normal here.

💬 Ask your instructor anything

When a technique is fuzzy, just ask in the chat. Try:

  • “Break down the female triangle footwork for angle 2 — where does my rear foot go?”
  • “I keep losing balance on tai-otoshi. What's the fix?”
  • “Give me three drills to sharpen my switch kick this week.”

You'll get a plain-English breakdown, a step-by-step, and a video reference.

🎥 Submit photo or video for form feedback

  1. Film or photograph yourself doing a form, kata, stance, or number drill (side-on + front-on both help).
  2. Upload it in the chat and say what it is — e.g. “Heian Nidan, whole kata” or “double sinawali, check my timing.”
  3. Get specific feedback: stance depth, alignment, guard, hip rotation, timing, and the top 1–3 fixes vs. the curriculum reference.
Filming tips: good light · plain background · whole body in frame · one technique per clip · normal speed once then slow/held at a key position · say what you're going for.
